They have 6 children, one of whom is their almost one year old daughter, who appears to be suffering from severe acute malnutrition. Her hair growth was sparse, she could barely stay awake and upright in her father’s arms while he tried to cheer her up. Flies gathered around her nose and mouth, her skin was loose and she was extremely thin, literally like she was slowly wasting away. Whilst this sounds like every other image of malnutrition, I can tell you the problem is real and dire and no one, let alone a child, should suffer in this manner.
