It was a barbaric message sent from the rebellion

It was a barbaric message sent from the rebellion

We braced ourselves as we approached the Berhale health centre. It appears the centre has begun operating again, at least partially. A line of women sat outside the maternity ward, on straw mats, fanning flies off their children, chattering amongst themselves, in amongst all the destruction and memories of what has happened months beforehand. The heat was simply to sweltering for them to be inside. In other parts of the health centre, beds were scattered everywhere outside, upturned basins, private patient documents scattered in a heap, medicines and syringes either burnt or looted, doors and windows damaged/broken , generators completely demolished in every sense of the word. It was utter disrespect, a barbaric message sent from the TDF rebellion.
