Children rummage through the rubble
When the fighting started, pregnant women delivered their babies while feeling from the conflict. There were too many deaths on the way, mainly pregnant and lactating women, children and the elderly who fled for their lives. Elderlies with chronic diseases left their medications at home and were not able to cope or escape and so perished along the way, in the middle of no where. They were civilians with no part in the conflict. It was a frustrating and hopeless situation.
