Another sad state of affairs where the grounds that would usually provide a year or more worth of water for the village has dried up about 6 months ago. Deep crevices scarred the earth where water should have been. With temperatures soaring well above 40ºC and not a drop of rain, this community faces a very bleak future.
The story does not vary. Here, deep/ground water is starting cease. Nothing is coming out of the earth. Surface water is now practically non existent. As with other communities, they are experiencing livestock losses and hence their ability to generate any for of income to sustain themselves.
