He has been displaced from Madala now for 4 months due to floods. He is now living in a small tent, barely large enough for one let alone an entire family.

This is the first time he has experienced severe flooding that has destroyed homes.

It is extremely cold here. He is thankful to an NGO for providing the canvas that is currently covering his tent, which somewhat blocks out the wind.

He used to fish and practise agriculture. He now does little when he thinks about what has happened. His farm was flooded and this year's harvest was all lost. He feels depressed and isn't able to continue with working as he did before.
