Came to Buea a year ago from Bamenda as armed groups burnt her house down in Ndu and there was too much unrest in Bamenda where there was constant gunshots. "Amba shot my grandfather. He was in the house at the time and Amba shot him for no reason. He died".

Kindness came here to live with her husband, life was not easy. She wasn't working at the time. Everytime she asked for money, he would shout at her. There was no agreeement in the house.

Things started to change when IRC intervened. They provided Kindness with the means to earn some income. She had to convince her husband to accept the IRC program. He was reluctant at the time but was finally accepting of it. The marriage is now "sweet" and their relationship cordial. Things have changed and life is better.
