Came in 2019 from Kambe after non state armed groups burnt their family home.
Her father had a heart attack adn passed away when he realised they lost everything.
After the death of her father, her uncle forced her to get married to a man who was 36yo. She was only 17yo at the time. She’s the second wife. The first wife of the husband remains in the village. They have a 2yo daughter together. She received a sewing machine and training from UNFPA and now sews clothes as an income generator. She’s the one providing for the house as the husband was a taxi driver from the village to town and his car was burnt during the attack. It is suspected it was state security forces who did so. It seems her husband treats her well despite the age difference and the fact that it was a forced marriage. "He provides me with everything I need".
