She has been an IDP in Mayo-Sava for 7 years. She was originally from Banjara. She delivered two of the children here in the IDP site, in the middle of the night. She couldn't get to the hospital on time.

Before being displaced, she had everything required to live. Her famliy had farms and livestock. Now everything has been taken from her and daily survival is challenged. She now has to travel (walk) a great distance to collect firewood for sale, about 20km from Kolofata. This is their sole income at present.

She carried all the pots given to her as a wedding gift from Banjara when she escaped. She has had to sell some of the pots to help put food on the table since.
