At present, the following number of beneficiaries participate in the above project:
- Market & Gardening 750 households
- Fish point 40 households
- Agri 30 households

Name: Achantan Presco 46yo
Married with 3 kids and live in Tiko

Achantan suffered malaria when he was about 4 years of age. His mother told him that they had to get injections after injections to try and bring his fever down. They believe the injection he was given was called Quinimax. One day after those injections, he woke up and was not able to use his legs and haven't been able to since. He now moves around with the assistance of crutches.

Achantan is a beneficiary of a fish point initiative. His wife sells water and some small things on the roads which is not enough to provide for the whole family. Having the fish point means he is able to back her up with more income and/or food. They also have both their mothers ilving with them. At least. there is now food in the house. Achantan also sells the fish that he rears in large tubs for about 3500 CFA per kilogram. This fish variety is believed to be robust, being able to live in any water conditions. They can even live out of water for up to 6 hours!
