Mohammed Dowi, 41yo. A refugee from Darfur, Sudan who lived in Egypt but was visiting his family in Darfur. The fighting there started and escalated rapidly. His father, mother and his wife died when an RSF holicopter crashed onto them. This happened at night. As he continued to tell me his story, tears started to well up in his eyes, still feeling every bit of the pain of losing his loved ones. They were moving from place to place, trying to escape the RSF who was recruiting men by force. He is now stuck in South Sudan bound for Maban as he doesn't have enough money to return to Egypt.
