This is the Yaogway family who were dispalced by the floods 3 years ago and who have not been able to rebuild as the flood waters have not subsided, though are showing signs of getting lower in recent times. The father was a soldier. The family had cattle and had their own cultivation and were comfortable prior to the floods. They are now sitting idle in the IDP camp. Most of their cattle died in the floods, leaving 20. The younger children in the househoild have not been attending school due to the cost of education. The family is hopeful that with the water showing signs of subsiding that they could return to their former lives.
