Relocation Site in Renk - relocating refugees from Sudan to Maban. Musa Hakim 26yo. "I could hear bombs going off, not directly in my town but closely". Many like Musa escaped the war in Sudan, paying traffickers to take them to South Sudan by bus, a 3-5 day journey with numerous challenges. The most challenging is to get enough money for a bus ticket, not just for yourself but for your family also. There are also many checkpoints on the way by both SAF (Sudanese Armed Forces) and RSF (Rapid Support Forces) where people are questioned and accused of being with the other side, especially men who could end up being force-recruited into the RSF or SAF. Musa is a little apprehensive about going to Maban as this is the first time he would be there. However he does feel a bit of joy to be in a more peaceful environment.
