Flood IDP camp A - one of the very first sites set up for those displaced by the floods in 2021. Here, families who have been displaced for the past 3 years and who will remain displaced taking into account the new information that has just surfaced regarding the release of dam water in Uganda, a quantity that is more than that released in 2021. One of the families have a child with what appears to be a severe condition and isn't receiving the appropriate medical assistance. The mother from another family pretended to cook and had nothing in the pot simply to quieten the children who thought a meal was coming when in actuality there wasn't any food. Conflict (IO majority) in this region adds another layer of challenges to the already challenging situation here.
