Snow would used to fall on the mountains and trickle down as spring water for on-mountain vegetations and supply of clean drinking water for the villages around. Where they are, the temperatures should be much lower but that is no longer the case now. "The mountain used to be green! But as you can see, the mountain is dry and bare now."
