We also interviewed another family where four children under the ages of 10 have lost their mother because of the conflict, murdered due to a retaliation from the Amharic ethnic group. Their father has left in search for a job in a different city, leaving the children with their grandmother, who at the time of the interview, has risked her life and gone into the forest for firewood as each family has to obtain their own firewood for the night.
